When Change Begins with Trust: HR Leadership Insights from DXC Luxoft

When Change Begins with Trust: HR Leadership Insights from DXC Luxoft

Publication date:

Publication from:

IT Ukraine

In an era of profound transformation, talent shortages, and constant pressure on business, the human element has moved to the forefront. Technologies, processes, and strategies no longer function in isolation — the key role is now played by how a company builds interaction with its teams, supports its leaders, and creates an environment for growth.

This very topic was the focus of a lecture by Olena Samborska — Managing Director and HR Director at DXC Luxoft, and a member of the IT Ukraine Board of Representatives — delivered as part of the “Vidvazhna 3. The Digital Evolution of Business” women’s accelerator.

In her presentation, Olena focused on the shifting role of HR within modern organisations. Here are the key takeaways from the speaker:

  • Today, HR is a core business partner that directly influences a company’s efficiency, resilience, and long-term value.
  • Successful transformations begin with a culture of openness, accountability, and honest communication with teams.
  • A leader’s role now extends beyond process management; a modern manager must act as a facilitator of change and a source of support.
  • Investing in the development of leaders and talent directly impacts a company’s ability to adapt to uncertainty.
  • Global experience with international teams proves that sustainable results are impossible without a systemic approach to people management.
  • Success lies in balancing business objectives with employee well-being.

Special attention was given to the global experience of DXC Luxoft and the challenges of working with large international teams. Olena shared her approaches to talent development, building efficient HR processes, and creating an environment where employees can grow alongside the business. She emphasised that sustainable results are impossible without a systemic approach to people management, as quick fixes that ignore the human factor only escalate risks.

The new season of the visionary women’s accelerator Vidvazhna 3. The Digital Evolution of Business is delivered by the Diia.Business network of entrepreneurship support centres in cooperation with the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine and the Entrepreneurship and Export Promotion Office, with the support of UNDP in Ukraine and financial assistance from the Government of Japan under the project Transformational Recovery for Human Security in Ukraine, and within the framework of the global initiative She’s Next Empowered by Visa, in partnership with the IT Ukraine Association.
