The CyberTech Committee
works on overcoming regulatory uncertainty, fostering a robust cybersecurity culture, and elevate Ukraine’s global reputation as a trusted cyber hub.
Committee's Priority Goals:
- Expanding collaboration with government agencies and involving experts to facilitate knowledge exchange, foster sector development, and strengthen Ukraine’s cyber ecosystem
- Participating in key domestic industry events and partner initiatives of the Association
- Enhancing the committee’s influence on regulatory processes and the formation of cybersecurity policies
- Building a resilient and effective cybersecurity ecosystem in Ukraine while raising public awareness of cyber threats
- Strengthening Ukraine’s competitiveness in the international cyber arena
- Ensuring all activities align with the Win Win 2030 Development Strategy
The Ukrainian cybersecurity market has nearly tripled since 2018 and is predicted to grow by another 51% by 2029, indicating an annual growth rate of 8.5% between 2024 and 2029. The cyber solutions segment dominates the market, accounting for 57% in 2024.
Why is CyberTech crucial for Ukraine, especially during wartime?
- Protection of critical infrastructure — defending the energy sector, government institutions, and public services from cyberattacks
- Safeguarding data confidentiality — preventing leaks and malicious actions targeting both personal and state-owned information
- Securing economic infrastructure — ensuring cyber resilience across banking, finance, and business sectors
- Upholding information security — counteracting fake news, disinformation, and propaganda that undermine societal stability

Committee Achievements:
- Partnered with Aspen Institute Kyiv and participated in high-level dialogues, including “The Ukrainian Cybersecurity Market: Strategic Growth and Opportunities” and “Expanding the Horizons of Cyber Business: Growth Strategies in Ukraine”.
- Сonducted study “Overview of the Cybersecurity Market in Ukraine” (an initiative of the EBA Cybersecurity Subcommittee, the CyberTech Committee of IT Ukraine, and Aspen Institute Kyiv).
- Conducted expert analysis and provided regular updates to members on key legislative developments, including:
- No. 11290 — On the Protection of Information and Cyber Defense of State Information Resources and Critical Information Infrastructure.
- No. 12207 — On Improving Cybersecurity Oversight Procedures and Introducing European Certification Schemes in Cybersecurity.
