IT Ukraine Association and Ministry of Digital Transformation Strengthen Dialogue on Cybersecurity and Cloud Technologies

The CyberTech Committee of the IT Ukraine Association met with Vitalii Balashov, Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine. The meeting focused on the government’s priorities in cybersecurity and cloud technologies, current challenges facing the technology sector, and ways to involve IT companies’ expertise in relevant government initiatives.

 

The discussion focused on:

• regulatory and practical issues affecting the Ukrainian IT sector;
• engaging technology companies’ expertise in the development and implementation of government initiatives;
• formats for cooperation between the Ministry of Digital Transformation and the CyberTech Committee;
• strengthening systematic dialogue between the government and the cybersecurity industry.

 

The participants also discussed the role of business in developing practical solutions in cybersecurity. IT Ukraine Association members bring expertise in technology implementation, secure digital infrastructure, cloud solutions, cyber risk management, and compliance with international standards.

 

For the IT Ukraine Association, it is important that this expertise is systematically taken into account in the development and implementation of government policies and solutions. In particular, the meeting covered opportunities to involve CyberTech Committee member companies in expert work, relevant projects, and consultations on the development of Ukraine’s cybersecurity and cloud infrastructure.
