USAID supports Ukraine’s tech sector as a critical driver of Ukraine’s economic development and cyber security. Deputy Mission Director Tedi Dell spoke at Lviv IT Arena – one of the region’s largest IT conferences – to underscore how USAID works closely with the Government of Ukraine, academia, civil society, and the private sector to drive digital transformation across Ukraine.

Did you know that USAID…
- Supported the establishment of Diia.City – the legal and tax environment that’s attracted over 1,300 tech companies since 2022.
- Supported over 265 of Ukraine’s most promising startups and technology companies to join 29 global tech delegations across Europe and the Americas.
- Worked with Ukrainian universities and cybersecurity companies to create 20 new cybersecurity professional standards and implement or revise 12 industry-specialised curriculums.
- Supporting the digitalisation of public services and transparent procurement through Diia and Prozorro.
- Created a Cyber Diagnostics programme for businesses through which Small and Medium-sized Enterprises can free-of-charge apply for cyber diagnostics of their digital infrastructures.
- Supports digital upskilling programs like the ReskillUA program, which will provide online courses and certificates to 30,000 Ukrainians in priority sectors like rebuilding and recovery, business, and technology.
