Letter of appreciation to the Polish IT industry
It is during the darkest moments that we discover the true strength and light in others. Ukraine and Poland have a long-standing relationship based on partnership and respect. Since the beginning of russia’s full-scale war, the bond between our countries has become even stronger. More than 25,000 Ukrainian IT specialists — mostly women, along with their children and relatives — have now fled to Poland, where they have been welcomed and supported like friends. This has given them a chance to continue their work for the sake of Ukraine, its armed forces, and all victims of the russian invasion. We have also heard hundreds of stories about Polish IT companies and individual specialists who have become volunteers, made donations, sent humanitarian aid to Ukraine, and helped refugees get adjusted to a new country. This is a tremendous contribution to our mutual victory.
