IT Ukraine Association has become a new signatory of the Human Capital Resilience Charter, an initiative launched by the Ministry of Economy and Environment of Ukraine with support from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the Folke Bernadotte Academy.

For IT Ukraine Association, this is an opportunity to uphold the principles of responsible employership and to contribute to the practical development of labour market solutions together with the state and the business community.

At a meeting attended by Daryna Marchak, Deputy Minister of Economy and Environment of Ukraine, participants discussed the practical implementation of the Charter in 2026, including the establishment and operation of thematic committees, next steps, and specific areas of business engagement within the initiative.

As part of the Charter, the Association will work within the Digital / IT & Tech Committee, which will focus on key workforce challenges facing the technology industry, including:

  • the shortage of digital talent
  • the impact of AI and the transformation of jobs
  • the development of young professionals
  • the return of Ukrainian IT and tech talent from abroad
  • the international competitiveness of the technology sector
  • inclusivity
  • practical HR solutions for team development

The Committee’s focus is on moving from discussion to practical solutions that help address the IT industry’s workforce challenges.
