On 10 September, the CyberTech Committee of the IT Ukraine Association held a working meeting bringing together representatives of technology companies and cybersecurity experts.
Participants discussed current challenges facing the state and business, including:
A systemic approach is essential, as modern cyber threats affect both individual companies and information systems more broadly. They can pose risks to critical infrastructure, government services, supply chains, the information space and the stable operation of businesses.
Experts emphasised the importance of a comprehensive approach that combines technological solutions, risk management, team preparedness, information sharing and ongoing cooperation among all participants in the digital ecosystem.
Particular attention was paid to the need to raise awareness among Ukrainian businesses of cyber risks. A company’s resilience increasingly depends on how systematically it assesses its own vulnerabilities, protects data and digital processes, trains staff and prepares for potential incidents. Sharing practical experience between companies, along with analysis of real-world cases and approaches to risk management and incident response, remains an important area of focus.
Going forward, the CyberTech Committee of the IT Ukraine Association will focus on developing expert and educational initiatives, exchanging practical experience and exploring new formats of cooperation.
