IT Ukraine

On 2 July, Diia.City Union, the IT Ukraine Association, and around 50 other business associations and public organisations joined a meeting with Lesia Karnaukh, Acting Head of the State Tax Service of Ukraine.

The participants discussed issues of macroeconomic and financial stability, budget planning, and the national revenue strategy.

Key topics addressed during the meeting included:

  • The need to align the positions of the State Tax Service, Ministry of Finance, and Ministry of Digital Transformation to ensure a unified interpretation of the rules regarding the taxation of annual paid leave for gig specialists;
  • Continuing regional dialogue with the business community to support effective tax policy development;
  • Reviewing and auditing internal administrative procedures to simplify interactions for taxpayers.

We extend our sincere thanks to the team of the State Tax Service of Ukraine and personally to Lesia Karnaukh for the open discussion and willingness to maintain constructive dialogue with the business community to address complex but essential issues.
