For the fourth consecutive year, Ukraine proudly showcased its national pavilion at Viva Technology 2025 — one of the world’s largest and most influential tech events held in Paris. This year’s event gathered over 170,000 visitors, more than 500 speakers, top government officials, innovators and startups from across the globe.
16 Ukrainian startups participated in the pavilion, highlighting the country’s expertise in: HealthTech, Mental Health, Cybersecurity, Smart City, AgriTech, Recycle Tech, FashionTech, and more.
The Ukrainian stand at Viva Tech was visited by innovators from other countries, as well as investors and French officials:
- Ludovic Pouille, Director of the Department of Economic Diplomacy, Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs of France;
- Benjamin Haddad — French Minister Delegate for Europe;
- Aurélien Lechevallier, Director General for Globalisation at the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs;
- Vadym Omelchenko — Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to France
- Delegation of Forvis Mazars — a network providing services in the fields of audit, accounting, taxation and consulting;
- Delegations from South Korea, Canada, Spain.
Ukrainian startups held hundreds of meetings with potential partners, gained thousands of valuable contacts, received feedback on their products, explored opportunities to enter new markets, and secured investment deals. They once again confirmed: Ukraine is an innovative nation and a technology hub of the future.
- S.Lab — won several international victories at VivaTech: they became one of the most promising impact startups at Viva Technology, received a €3,000 grant from Expertise France at Innovate Ukraine and won among 14 European teams at «La French Tech in Europe».
- Neomi — 50+ meetings, 5 potential partnerships, opened up the US and Eastern European markets, attracted the interest of Sanofi and Novartis.
- HEFT — 20+ contacts for further partnerships to enter the French market, possible cooperation with INREA and Agricole.
- Rekava — 15 contacts, agreements with several companies for follow-up communication.
- VITA325 — 15+ new contacts, potential partners from France, Germany, Poland, South Korea, Thailand, discussion of investment opportunities.
- iLea — potential partnerships with representatives of L’Oréal, Dolce&Gabbana, E-TEKA, ITERRA, Arctic Monks, Fuji and new opportunities to enter the French and Polish markets.
- InTempo — 36 new leads, offers to join two accelerators (France, OAE) and the potential to attract investments from France and Japan.
- MISTO — 8+ partnerships with Canada and the Middle East, discussion of possible investments from Plug and Play, opportunities to enter the markets of Canada, France, Oman, Saudi Arabia.
In addition to participating in the exhibition, the Ukrainian delegation joined and co-organised a number of side events, including:
- Ukrainian Tech Night at VivaTech 2025 — the flagship event of the delegation, which combined an overview of Ukraine’s tech ecosystem, startup pitches, and a networking evening with the participation of French and Ukrainian innovators.

Ukrainian Tech Night at Viva Tech 2025 was organised by the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, the Embassy of Ukraine in the French Republic, the IT Ukraine Association, the Ukrainian Startup Fund, and the EIT Community Hub Ukraine in partnership with Credit Agricole.
- Innovate Ukraine: Investors & Founders Connect — this event brought together Ukrainian startups and European investors for pitches and networking. The event featured a pitching session moderated by Anne Lebreton-Wolf, founder of ALW Finance & Innovation, with five Ukrainian startups: Apixmed, Eyre: European Secure AI Meeting Platform, Metatable.ai, S.Lab, and VITA325. Pitches were evaluated by an independent jury composed of leading private investors from France and Ukraine.
The event also included a thought-provoking panel discussion on Ukraine’s startup and innovation ecosystem, highlighting its dynamism, resilience, and attractiveness to global investors. The discussion was moderated by Dominique Piotet, President of La French Tech Kyiv.
The event was organised by the EU4InnovationEast project in cooperation with the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, the Embassy of Ukraine in France, the Ukrainian Startup Fund, the IT Ukraine Association, La French Tech Kyiv, and CCI France Ukraine.
- UAtech Venture Night — brought together top investors and startups for pitch presentations and networking. The best Ukrainian startup received a prize of $25,000 in AWS credits.
- An international business lunch at Mama Shelter Paris gathered representatives from Ukraine, South Korea, Canada, Spain, Miami, and the UAE. Over an informal meal, participants discussed the latest tech trends, opportunities, and exchanged experiences.
The event took place with the participation of investors and innovation leaders through the French Chambers of Commerce abroad.
- Meetings with research institutions, including INRAE Transfert, also took place as part of the delegation’s visit.
