Ukrainian Stand at VivaTech 2026

Participation in VivaTech is an opportunity to present a product to the world, attract investments, enter new markets and establish partnerships with international businesses. And Ukrainian startups at this year’s exhibition showed incredible results.

 

 

This year, Ukraine was represented by 8 startups:

• Generect – data platform for B2B sales
• Hydratico – wastewater treatment and desalination technology
• Odyssea – AI platform for mental well-being
• Ovul – tracks hormonal fluctuations with a drop of saliva
• Sec-TA – AI cybersecurity system for business
• Strimco – digital transformation for governments
• Yharvest – soil monitoring to increase fertilizer efficiency
• Z1RO – eco-packaging made from natural fibers

 

3 student startups also received exhibition tickets from EU4Innovation East: AIREST (helps fight PTSD), Delirobo (robots for fast delivery), PHYSREHAB (innovative devices for limb rehabilitation).

 

The Ukrainian stand was visited by innovators, investors and officials, including: Jean-Noël Barrot, Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of France; Nicolas Faurissier, Minister Delegate for Foreign Trade and Investment Attraction at the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs of France; Jérémie Pellet, CEO of Expertise France; Aurora Berger, Minister Plenipotentiary for Gender Equality and Anti-Discrimination of France; Vadym Omelchenko, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to France.

 

 

Among the results of the Ukrainian delegation:

• Z1RO: Negotiations with an investor regarding potential financing of €500K, opened up the markets of Germany and Italy. Established contacts with the 10+ companies. Also Z1RO received the VivaTech Pitch Contest Audience Favorite award – an audience award, which is awarded to the project that received the greatest support from the audience.
• Strimco: start of negotiations with the Interdepartmental Directorate for Digital Technologies (DINUM) of France; OECD; GovTech Deutschland.
• Odyssea: contacts with identity.vc, discussions with potential investors regarding financing of $500K.
• Ovul: 8 device sales, positive reviews of the device, new potential customers and partners.
• HYDRATICO: meetings with investment funds regarding financing for €250K, contacts with Armenian startups, victory at the EU4Innovation East Pitch Contest and a prize of €10K.
• Y-Harvest: contacts with investment funds, e-peas and cooperatives in Loire, Grand Est/Moselle; Centre-Val de Loire.
• Generect: 30 investor contacts with Armand, team.blue, potential partnership with Moldova Accelerator, i-oasis.fr and Basil OS.
• Sec-TA: Negotiations with the French government and Singapore representatives, potential partnerships with the Île de France region, meetings with Nortal group representatives, potential investment of €500,000, opening new markets in France, Taiwan, Singapore.

 

Also within VivaTech on June 19, three Ukrainian startups performed at the EU4Innovation East Pitch Contest: Hydratico, Z1RO and Sec-TA, competing with 6 projects from Armenia and Moldova. The Hydratico team took 1st place and won the biggest prize – €10,000 for the development of the project. And the Z1RO startup received an award in the VivaTech Pitch Contest Audience Favorite nomination. The 9 startups from Armenia, Moldova, and Ukraine had also the opportunity to meet with Benjamin Haddad, Minister Delegate for Europe and Foreign Affairs of France. 

 

The national stand of Ukraine at Viva Technology 2026 was organized by the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, the Embassy of Ukraine in the French Republic, the Ukrainian Startup Fund and the IT Ukraine Association in cooperation with La French Tech Kyiv and CCIFU, with the support of the EU4Innovation East project, funded by the European Union and the French government and implemented by Expertise France.
