The three-day EdTech exhibition in London, UK, concluded after celebrating its 40th anniversary. The event, held from January 22 to 24, 2025, attracted over 30,000 visitors from more than 140 countries.

Four Ukrainian companies — Geniusee, Edmaps, AR Book and Optima School, — participated in the exhibition at a shared stand, showcasing their solutions in various areas, such as software development for educational programs, VR integration in education, gaming platforms for learning and online education.

During the three-day exhibition, these companies conducted over 100 B2B meetings with government representatives, businesses and representatives from private and public schools. Ukrainian companies highlighted the potential and advancements of the Ukrainian EdTech sector and created new opportunities for international collaboration.

The Bett 2024 exhibition also outlined key trends in educational technology, shaping modern education:

  • Integration of Artificial Intelligence in Education AI is actively used for personalized learning, analyzing student progress and creating adaptive platforms.
  • Digital Wellbeing and Safety Building secure digital environments for students is becoming a priority to safeguard their mental and emotional health.
  • Collaboration Between Educational Institutions and the Tech Sector Partnerships between schools and tech companies demonstrate significant potential for implementing modern teaching methods.
  • Gamification and Student Engagement Gamified elements and interactive technologies, including virtual reality, enhance student motivation and simplify the learning of complex topics.
  • Inclusivity and Support for Diverse Audiences EdTech focuses on creating solutions for students with special needs and multilingual environments.
  • Development of STEM Skills Emphasis on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics skills is growing to prepare young people for future professions.

These trends confirm that educational technologies have become an integral part of the learning process, making it more accessible, efficient and modern. The Ukrainian IT sector has substantial potential to integrate into these global trends and promote its solutions on the international stage.

The Ukrainian stand at Bett is organised by the IT Ukraine Association in partnership with Geniusee company.
