Ukrainian IT Companies’ Delegation Visit to Berlin (Germany)

From March 17 to 21, a Ukrainian IT delegation visited Berlin, Germany, as part of a business visit organized by sequa gGmbH and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, with funding from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action.

 

The delegation included representatives from IT Ukraine Association, Agiliway, COAX, Digicode, Geniusee, GlobalDev, HUSPI, Indeema, Lionwood.software, PettersonApps, Quantum, Soloway, Vakoms, Winstars.AI.

   

Key agenda elements:

 

• Pitching workshops with a sales coach — practical sessions that helped companies enhance their sales skills and adapt their strategies to the German market.
• Meetings with leading industry associations (BGA, Deutscher Outsourcing Verband, Bitkom, BITMi) — discussions on key trends, expectations, and growth prospects of the German IT market, as well as opportunities for cooperation with Ukrainian companies.
• Brief presentation and tour of MotionLab.Berlin — an introduction to an innovation hub that brings together startups and tech companies working in the DeepTech sector.
• Presentation and discussion on the demand for IT services in Germany — an analysis of market needs, the level of digitalization and budgeting, as well as an in-depth discussion of business opportunities and challenges when working with German partners.

   

On March 19-20, Ukrainian companies participated in the IT exhibition TRANSFORM, where they had the opportunity to showcase their solutions and establish new business connections.

 

This visit marked another step in strengthening the partnership between the Ukrainian and German IT sectors.

 

The initiative ‘IT Partnerships with Ukraine’ is conducted by sequa gGmbH under the project ‘Promoting Ukraine’s Sustainable Economic Recovery,’ which is implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action.
