Ukraine to Showcase E-Governance, Smart City and Digitalization Solutions at Smart Country Convention 2024

From October 15 to 17, 2024, Berlin will host Smart Country Convention 2024 (SCCON) – a leading event in the GovTech sector, bringing together over 12,000 participants, 250 stands, and more than 400 speakers.

 

This year, Ukraine will once again participate in the event, presenting  technological solutions at a collective stand organised by the Entrepreneurship and Export Promotion Office,  national project Diia.Business, and the IT Ukraine Association. Ukraine first participated in SCCON in 2023, showcasing innovative products for the public sector.

 

The main topics include GovTech, Digital citizen services, Cybersecurity, State sovereignty, Cloud in the administration, Digital infrastructure, Digitalization & Sustainability, Mobility & Energy, Tech Trends, and Data platforms.

8 companies will be selected to participate in the collective stand organised by the Entrepreneurship and Export Promotion Office,national project Diia.Business, and the IT Ukraine Association.

 

Companies applying to participate in the Ukrainian collective stand at SCCON 2024 must meet the following mandatory criteria:

• The company must be a registered entity (private entrepreneur or legal entity) according to the current legislation of Ukraine (preference is given to entities where at least 50% of the ownership is held by Ukrainian citizens or legal entities registered in Ukraine). 
• The company’s website and marketing materials must be available in English.
• The company’s expertise must align with the themes of SCCON 2024.
• Having successful export cases (GovTech, Digital citizen services, Cybersecurity, etc.) will be an advantage.

• The company must be ready to send an English-speaking representative and cover expenses related to logistics, accommodation, and other costs during the exhibition.
• The company must be prepared to deliver product samples (if applicable) and cover the costs of renting any additional equipment if needed (e.g., monitors).
• The company must not have any legal or financial ties with the russian federation or belarus.

 

Registration deadline: September 20, 2024. Companies meeting the criteria can apply for participation by September 20. After reviewing the applications, organisers will create a shortlist of potential participants and contact them to confirm participation.
