SPEKA gathered insights from leading technology experts to explore how AI will develop in Ukraine by 2025. Mariia Shevchuk, Executive Director of the IT Ukraine Association, shared her vision alongside contributions from other leaders in the tech sector.

The development of artificial intelligence in Ukraine in 2025 will be pivotal across various domains — from business to national security. Ukraine has a unique opportunity to become a hub of innovation in generative AI, integrating it into key processes such as management, data analysis and decision-making. Notably, we are already building trust in AI and laying the foundation for the safe and responsible use of these technologies through the development of regulatory tools,

– emphasised Mariia Shevchuk.

Experts highlighted the success of AI implementation in public services, particularly through the “Diia” portal, and underscored the importance of technology in simplifying citizen access to services and combating corruption. They also noted that integrating AI into the education system could revolutionise learning approaches, making them more personalized and effective.

Overall, the participants of the discussion agreed that the advancement of AI in Ukraine opens significant opportunities for the economy, society and public governance. At the same time, it is crucial to continue refining regulatory mechanisms to ensure the ethical use of these technologies.
