Ukrainian agri-food scale-ups have the opportunity to become part of the EIT Food Challenge Labs 2025 program, which is being implemented on the initiative of EIT Food and implemented by the Amplifiers Program in partnership with the IT Ukraine Association.

The program provides Ukrainian agricultural companies with access to scaling up in national and European markets.

Ukraine is an important player in the agri-food sector, and we are working together within the EIT Food network to bring innovative solutions and products to market. With EIT Food Challenge Labs 2025, we aim to support bold Ukrainian scale-ups ready to drive the transformation of the food system — locally and across Europe. This initiative is not just about scaling up; it’s about scaling smart, sustainably, and collaboratively to deliver healthy and trusted food for all, while building a more resilient, inclusive, and sustainable food system.

— Milda Kraużlis, Regional Impact Portfolio Manager — EIT Food CLC North-East

EIT Food Challenge 2025 is based on a comprehensive approach, creating space and opportunities for the individual growth of each participant.

Selected scale-ups will receive:

  • Mentoring support — individual sessions with experts who have practical experience in agribusiness, international scaling, and innovation;
  • Workshops based on real cases, practical scaling tools, and mentoring support to put solutions into action;
  • Networking with representatives of Ukrainian and European businesses.

Participation in the program provides access to real scaling mechanisms based on the best global and national practices, where program participants not only transform their solutions and create new ones, but also explore industry experience with the help of industry experts with many years of experience.

The following are invited to participate in the program:

  • Agri-food scale-ups that already have a finished product or solution and are showing dynamic growth.
  • Companies that implement innovative technologies in the agricultural and food industries, particularly in the fields of artificial intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), and biotechnology (biotech).
  • Developers of solutions in areas such as digital farm management, smart agricultural machinery, functional foods, and eco-friendly packaging.
  • Family farms and food businesses seeking digital transformation and entry into new markets.
  • Developers of science-intensive solutions in the agricultural sector who have breakthrough solutions and are ready for internationalisation.
  • Food producers looking for opportunities to modernise and scale up in national and European markets.

In order to pass the further selection for the program, participants must meet the following requirements:

  • The agri-food company must be registered in Ukraine;
  • The majority of the team must be located in Ukraine;
  • At least 2 years of experience in the development, sale, or production of agro-industrial products;
  • A description of the export product concept and/or finished product.

Click here to register. Submissions will be accepted from 2 July to 23 July, 2025.

Participation in the programme is free of charge. Learn more about the programme: amplifiers.pro/eit-food/
