Tech companies gain new opportunities of cooperation in United Kingdom

On September 6, the Executive Director of the Association Konstantin Vasyuk had a meeting with Valentyn Maksymchuk, First Secretary on Economic issues of the Embassy of Ukraine to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

Konstantin Vasyuk spoke about the activities of the Association and the plan of activities in London up to the end of the year. The participants discussed possible formats of cooperation and joint activities for the promotion of Ukrainian IT exports on the British market, in particular within the framework of the IT Export Boost project initiated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine in 2021. The parties agreed that the Ukrainian IT industry is the only industry in the country that works on the global market despite the War and has the potential for further growth. The participants of the meeting noted that providing maximum support to export industries, both at the diplomatic level and at the level of interaction between business communities, is the joint task..

We are combining the efforts of the government and business to support the Ukrainian economy during the War and to rebuild the country after the victory. The UK is one of the largest and promising export markets for IT companies with development centers in Ukraine. Taking into account the requests of our participants, the Association will intensify its activities in the international arena in important for our IT companies countries, in particular in the UK
