Synergy 2022: Introducing our Speakers

Later this month we will hold our traditional educational IT-conference Synergy. IT Business & IT Education: New Horizons! On June 24, 2022, we plan to bring together our guests and more than 20 experts to jointly discuss current realities in the IT education world. We introduce you to our speakers and the topics of their speeches. Glad to present you our next speakers.

Andriy Yakovenko, StrongMiddleJavaScriptDeveloper, Alfa-Banks on “The path from financial officer to programmer” topic. Stream: Education for Adults: Switchers, new professions, effective educational trajectories. Andrew is a financier by profession, mastered Persian and French, but did not limit himself to two and decided to learn JavaScript :). He will talk about the role of mentoring in his training and retraining, his own teaching experience and current career in IT. With extensive experience in teaching programming for children, Andrew will talk about how to approach the youth education, when it is better to involve them in IT professions and will talk about the achievements of his graduates.

Oleksandr Rodyuk, JavaSoftwareEngineer, GlobalLogicUkraine on the “Mastering a new IT specialty – challenges and lifehacks” topic. Stream: Education for Adults: Switchers, new professions, effective educational trajectories. Olexander is a former system administrator, became a FullStackDeveloper in 2018 and began his career in development. Olexander is convinced that with support and a clear goal, you can change the profession radically and get a fresh start. Olexander is going to talk about his personal experience of mastering a new profession, the difficulties he faced with at the training and employment stages, and how he has been currently working on his technical skills, what advice he can give to those who plan to master the IT specialty. Ksenia Stolbova, CEO DAN.IT education on the “At what age should you start and what direction to choose for IT training for a teenager?” topic. Stream: Education for Teenagers. Ksenia has more than 15 years of experience as a manager, including 5 years in IT. Speaker during more than 200 events, tutor and DAN.IT Education CEO. Olha Oseredchuk, University Programs Manager, SigmaSoftwareGroup on “Education for Adults during the War: yes or no, and most importantly – how?” Stream: Education for Adults: Switchers, new professions, effective educational trajectories. Olha has more than 14 years of experience in Higher Education Lecturing, is an author and an organizer of the Open IT project with Lviv University, of a number of educational schools DES -2020/22 and Summer AI School in 2021/2022, an author and an organizer of educational initiatives for teachers. Oleksiy Nishchyk, Head of Education, Genesis on the “Optimization of the educational process: product approach in education” topic. Stream: Preservation of formal education and ways to support it by business. Oleksiy and his team have been developing product IT education in Ukraine for over four years. He graduated from the Computer Science and Cybernetics department at Taras Shevchenko National University, so he knows from his own experience what technical specialty students lack. During his speech, Oleksiy will talk about the product approach to education, modern teaching methods and useful tools for curriculum development. Synergy Conference.
