Synergy 2021: How Does SoftServe Works at Different Educational Levels

SoftServe Ukraine is the gold sponsor of the annual Synergy 2021. IT Business & IT Education Conference. We spoke with Galyna Datsiv, Associate Vice President, Learning and Development at SoftServe, about why and how the company is working in education.

Education is a key activity for SoftServe. The company works systematically to improve technology education, creating opportunities for training IT professionals both at its own corporate university, which has been operating for 15 years and in cooperation with external educational institutions. In 2020 alone, SoftServe University created 3,200+ learning solutions, and over 8,300 people became students.

SoftServe cooperates with higher education institutions at all levels of educational interaction: with the administration, lecturers and students. For each of the levels, the company offers training solutions and products that allow expanding the relevant capabilities:

•         For administrations, there are various types of partnerships, including dual education;
•         For lecturers, there are programs of educational grants and internships;
•         For students, there are crash courses, certifications, meetings with production experts, etc.

Working with all participants in the educational process allows qualitatively influencing IT education in Ukraine and supporting the necessary changes. The main goal of the company is to assist educational institutions in preparing graduates who are ready for the challenges of today and the needs of the market.
