"Svoe.IT" in Ivano-Frankivsk — Digital Sovereignty Through Ukrainian Solutions and Cybersecurity

On April 25, the Svoe.IT conference took place in Ivano-Frankivsk, dedicated to those who create ‘their own’ — reliable, Ukrainian, and technological solutions.

 

At Svoe.IT, entrepreneurs, product companies, the IT community, and cybersecurity experts gathered to discuss how to transition to national digital solutions, what tools are already available, and what more is needed to strengthen Ukraine’s digital sovereignty.

   

During the event:

 

• GigaCloud presented the Svoe.IT project, which opens access to Ukrainian cloud services for businesses;
• Executive Director of the IT Ukraine Association, Maria Shevchuk, introduced the ‘Hostile Software’ Project, addressing the risks of using software from the aggressor country;
• Ukrainian product companies IT Enterprise, ASKOD, and CRM.UA shared their own cases;
• Participants of the panel discussion addressed the real challenges of transitioning to “their own” — with practical examples, insights, and solutions. At the end of the conference, participants had the opportunity to network and engage in informal discussions.
