On Tuesday, the quarterly meeting of IT companies took place, which we held together with Oleksii Uros — Vice President for Legal Affairs at ITU and Director of Business Development at Asters, and Marta Kindrys — Acting Director of the Advocacy and Development Center of the IT Industry of the IT Ukraine Association.
We discussed the most relevant topics for the Ukrainian tech business:
- Amendments to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 76, which stipulate that individuals reserved by other companies will not be included in the total number of military personnel for the purposes of conscription.
- The Lobbying Law, which comes into force on September 1, 2025, introduces transparent mechanisms for interaction with government bodies. However, to ensure the proper application of this law, further clarifications from the National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP) are required.
- The potential impact on the uninterrupted operation of junior specialists (junior developers) due to mandatory military training for conscripted students.
- A new approach to the employment of people with disabilities: payment of a targeted contribution instead of penalties.
- The potential impact of the abolition of the Commercial Code on business activities.
These meetings will be held regularly — each quarter — and will serve as an excellent platform for exchanging statuses, advice, and information. See you at the next quarterly meeting!
