We share why Germany is interesting for Ukrainian IT:
- for the last 5 years Germany has been closely cooperating with Ukraine in the field of IT, and the import of information technology services is almost 2 times higher than the export: 6.48 against 2.99 billion dollars;
- exports of information technology services of Ukraine to Germany account for 18% of the total volume of exported services. And this indicates a high potential for growth;
- The German market as a whole shows a moderate growth of 1.7% during 2010-1019, which is facilitated by activity in sectors such as telecom, IT services, and IT hardware.
We remind you that the First Ukrainian Export IT Alliance started its work in 2020. The project is implemented under the Union brand, currently its participants are 20 Ukrainian IT companies that plan to enter new export markets this year. The first phase of the project, the study of three potential markets for export, has now been completed. According to its results, in 2021 trade missions to Norway, Finland and Germany are planned.
