Open Call: ITU invites small and medium IT companies to a study tour to Sweden

IT Ukraine, with partners, invites small and medium IT companies to join the Study Tour in Sweden, held on February 13-15, 2024, in Stockholm. 

 

Date: 13-15 Feb, 2024

Location: Stockholm, Sweden

Duration: 3 days

 

Key elements:

• visits to Swedish companies or technology parks;
• meetings with business representatives, industry associations, and business communities;
• educational workshop by Open Trade Gate Sweden on the specifics of doing business in Sweden, covering the current state, trends, and opportunities for IT companies at the market;
• business visit to the technological conference Stockholm Fintech Week 2024.

 

10 small and medium-sized IT companies will have the opportunity to:

• establish new business contacts for potential collaboration and export
• explore the Swedish market from within
• learn about market specifics and its potential
• exchange experiences with Swedish IT companies and associations
• present opportunities of the Ukrainian IT sector

 

Additional: The flight and accommodation (3 nights) in Stockholm for one representative from each participating company will be covered by the organizers. 

 

Terms of participation:

• Company registration as a legal entity (private entrepreneur or legal entity) according to Ukrainian law
• Minimum of 50% of the company’s shares owned by Ukrainian citizens
• Company website and marketing materials available in English
• English proficiency of the company representative
• Presence of successful export cases (especially in Fintech, E-commerce, Banking, etc.)
• Preference will be given to small and medium enterprises
• Willingness to physically send an English-speaking representative to Sweden and cover expenses for logistics in Stockholm, meals, conference tickets, etc.
• No legal or financial ties with the russian federation and belarus.

After a thorough analysis of the information provided by the companies IT Ukraine with Open Trade Gate Sweden, will compile a shortlist of potential participants and get in touch with them to clarify details and conduct interviews. Once the information is processed, organizers will create a list of participating companies and inform them about the confirmation of their participation.
