Members of the AI Committee met with representatives involved in drafting Ukraine’s Artificial Intelligence Development Strategy.
The Strategy aims to assess the current state of the AI ecosystem in Ukraine and globally, identify its strengths and weaknesses, and define long-term priorities for the sector’s growth. The document is being developed within the framework of the WINWIN Digital Innovation Development Strategy to 2030, which sets out the country’s key national innovation priorities.

During the meeting, participants discussed the key provisions and current progress in drafting the Artificial Intelligence Development Strategy, as well as prospects for its practical implementation. Members of the AI Committee shared their vision of future provisions and outlined the main challenges of introducing artificial intelligence in Ukraine. The event marked another step towards building a shared vision for the development of the Ukrainian AI sector and its integration into the global landscape.
The Strategy is being developed by the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine in partnership with Digital Nation (Estonia), with the support of the Estonian Centre for International Development (ESTDEV) and the Digitalisation for Growth, Integrity, and Transparency (UK DIGIT) project, implemented by Eurasia Foundation and funded by UK Dev.
The AI Committee was launched in May 2025 with the aim of fostering the growth of Ukraine’s AI market by bringing together industry leaders for constructive dialogue and collaboration. It provides a platform for knowledge exchange, joint development of innovative solutions, and shaping the long-term strategy for AI in Ukraine.
