Meeting with the German Parliament member Manuel Höferlin

Executive director of the IT Ukraine Association Konstantin Vasyuk, spoke today with member of the German Parliament Manuel Höferlin (Group of Free Democrats). In the conversation, Höferlin, who is also an IT entrepreneur, expressed his solidarity with the Ukrainian IT industry, which accounts on three percent of the country’s economic output. Konstantin Vasyuk briefed the participants on current situation in IT industry in wartime and its resilience, how IT business supports the State and contributes to its victory and economic stability. He called for support of international community. Another topic of discussion was the protection of IT security, especially with regard to the threat of Russian cyber attacks. Both speakers agreed to remain in exchange and continue to look for opportunities for stronger cooperation between the two countries as well as within the European Union.
