At the Association’s General Meeting at the end of 2023, a new ITU executive board was elected, headed by Olena Samborska, ITU President and Managing Director/HR Operations Director Ukraine at Luxoft. The vice presidents of the Association are representatives of IT business, which determine development vectors and accents in the Association’s work in 2024.

OLEKSIY UROS, Vice President on Legal Affairs
Olexiy Uros brings a strategic approach to expanding legal expertise and addressing international legal matters for the Association members, having structured the committee’s internal work for the utmost alignment with the interests of ITU members. An essential facet of Mr. Uros’s responsibilities as Vice President of the Association is fostering collaboration with an international network of legal partners to exchange expertise and jointly hold events.
Mr. Uros’s expertise in advising clients on legislative matters, particularly those relevant to the IT sector, is complemented by his active involvement in shaping legislative policies. He has played a pivotal role in drafting a bill aimed at enhancing the regulation of the currency and of conscription shielding.
With a proven track record spanning leading law firms and IT companies, including Precoro, Terrasoft, Redcliffe Partners, and others, Mr Uros currently serves as Director of Business Development at Asters, managing a portfolio of over 40 IT clients

DENYS GRYNOV, Vice President on Educational issues
Denys Grynov heads the Ukrainian branch of EPAM University. His teaching career started in 2006—right after receiving a Candidate of Technical Sciences Degree. Mr Grynov has worked in IT since 2015, having first successfully headed the Kharkiv Java & DevOps Lab and then coordinated all EPAM University courses in Ukraine.
Combining a scientific with global and Ukrainian expertise and building governmental-business relationships are among Mr Grynov’s strong suits. During his 9-year tenure with EPAM Systems Ukraine, Throughout his 9-year tenure with the company, he led the education division of EPAMUkraine, spearheading numerous initiatives impacting students, schoolchildren, young professionals, educators, and career changers. Under his direction, programs like Teachers Internship and Bootcamp IT for UNI flourished. He also launched the IT Fundamentals for Ukrainian Switchers programme, enabling over 1,600 individuals to transition professions during wartime. Notably, he initiated the migration of 24 universities’ infrastructure to a secure Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud environment, allowing almost 20% of Ukrainian students to continue their studies amidst the wartime conditions.
Denys Grynov aims to provide the highest quality of talent training for the Ukrainian IT sector with a particular focus on assisting the young qualifying talent’s professional upbringing. Launching the Core Skill 2.0 program, developing Bootcamp IT for UNI, and supporting the Pre-Junior Program for schoolchildren and initiatives for veterans are among the critical priorities for Mr Grynov. His plans include supporting small- and medium-sized businesses, partaking in the IT education reformation process and ensuring the proper autonomy of higher educational institutions in Ukraine.

LIUBOV DANYLINA, Vice President on Small and Medium Business issues
Leveraging over 12 years of experience in sales, distribution, and project management, 6 of them within the IT sector, Ms Danylina has worked at Metinvest, Omnic Consulting Group, and DEV Challenge. Currently, she leads as Country Manager for Ukraine at Payoneer, a global cross-border payments for SMBs and eCommerce player, having joined in 2019 and risen to this position within three years. Beyond that, Ms Danylina is an active participant in various industry events: Women in Payments and Fraud Luncheon, IT Arena, Forbes Events, and others.
As Vice President, Ms Danylina’s primary focus is empowering Ukrainian IT companies to thrive in the global market. By strategically leveraging Payoneer‘s network, she aims to create opportunities for client acquisition and forge partnerships that fuel their expansion. A key aspect of her work involves identifying Ukrainian IT’s unique value proposition, differentiating it from competitors, and solidifying its global position.
Our shared objective is to revitalise the Ukrainian economy and propel Ukrainian IT to become a more prominent contributor to exports,
Ms Danilina is convinced.
Additionally, Ms Danylina draws on her expertise with small and medium businesses (SMBs), supervising their active participation in offline events and fostering knowledge exchange, which is especially crucial for those in smaller regions. Ms Danylina reiterates her willingness to support both partner and colleague initiatives in this area, with those of her own as well.

IHOR POLYCH, Vice President on International Cooperation
Ihor Polych leverages his 8-year experience in the IT industry, having founded and led Devlight, which has surpassed 35 app downloads. Building from his expertise, Mr Polych is committed to equipping to ensure that the Association’s member companies with strategic guidance leading to successful global market expansion.
One of the main focuses of Ihor Polych in his role as IT Ukraine Association’s VP is to engender and grow the international partnership network of the Association, focusing primarily on members’ key regions. Hence, the comprehensive partnership network map is to be created and digitised, ensuring equal access to all the available opportunities for all member companies and partners as well as providing for the continuous addition to the list of such connections and opportunities.

NINA VASYLYOVA, Vice President on PR issues
For the past five years, Nina Vasylova has been heading the corporate communications department at EPAM Ukraine. She has over twenty years of experience in reputation management and crisis communications in different sectors, including telecommunications, finances, energy, and consulting.
Last year, MMR recognised EPAM among the PR cases in the ‘PR Team’ Nomination for its AI application case in a promo campaign for Devoxx Ukraine, one of the biggest tech conferences.
In her work, Nina Vasylova believes in the power of team synergy and honest communication. She strives to apply the utmost effort to strengthening the voice of the Ukrainian IT Industry.

KONSTANTIN MAGALETSKYI, Vice President on Partnerships issues
Konstantin Magaletskyi, a YPO (a global C-Suite community) member, plans to leverage his experience in investment projects and business association development to help ITU achieve its ambitious target. He will focus on strengthening partnerships with industry associations and investment funds, with a particular emphasis on Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs).
Mr Magaletskyi is building on his experience of establishing international partnerships, applying his EU contact network to expand opportunities for ITU member companies, fostering active collaboration with international associations, and supercharging integration into the European community.
During his 13 years with Horizon Capital, Konstantin, as a Partner, helped to grow its assets from $600m to $1.1b and led both investments and exits, in particular to the leading global strategic investors. Afterwards Mr Magaletskyi launched Ukraine Recovery Fund Co-Founder and helped 8allocate to grow global sales significantly.
Business Development and Scaling —are Konstantin Magaletskyi’s main goals as ITU VP.
