On 31 July, the first strategic session of the IT Ukraine FinTech Committee was held, which launched a regular format of meetings to discuss industry challenges and determine ways to develop the industry. The meeting was attended by representatives of 16 companies.
I believe the best way for the committee to start its work is to hold a strategic session with all committee members. Identifying and discussing common pain points, problematic issues, and potential solutions will help define the vectors and directions for our joint efforts moving forward,
said Yuliya Fedosyuk, CEO of the national payment service UAPAY and leader of the Committee in the FinTech direction.
It is important to note that the collaborative efforts of all committee members are key to achieving common goals.
The Ukrainian FinTech sector is incredibly rich in high-quality products and services that are well-known globally today. However, this mature and well-developed segment is extremely regulated and challenging to scale. My team and I are sincerely interested in finding solutions and engaging in open dialogue with the government regarding the development of FinTech in Ukraine, as well as its more active international promotion. The first strategic session is a powerful starting point where we have found common goals among representatives of various businesses and are ready to start the journey to implement them,
added Yevheniia Shulha, coordinator of the FinTech committee.
Open cooperation with government agencies and international promotion of Ukrainian FinTech products are the priority tasks of the committee.
At the first strategic session, the main challenges facing the industry and potential solutions to overcome them were discussed. This meeting marked a significant milestone in the development of the FinTech Committee and outlined the main directions for further cooperation and industry growth in Ukraine.

Recently, the IT Ukraine Association introduced Committee Leaders in the AgriTech, CyberTech, FinTech, and EdTech verticals.
