On May 13, the IT Ukraine Association together with the nonprofit organization “Ukrainian Help Fund” donated 6,000 pairs of medical gloves to Kyiv city clinical hospitals №4 and №9. We are grateful to the IT company Dev.Pro, which supported hospitals within the #AntiVirus initiative and allocated funds for the purchase of medical gloves.

Our company has always related to the importance of charity projects. Taking into account today’s situation, we are aware of how crucial is the support of medical workers. Since our company is located in Kyiv, Kharkiv, and Dnipro, we decided that it would be right to provide financial assistance in these areas. Our experts enthusiastically supported this charity initiative, and the company doubled this contribution. We are happy to be part of projects like #AntiVirus and support those in need. –
— Halyna Shakirova, CPO, of Dev.Pro.
We would like to remind, that on May 7, medical facilities in Kyiv and Kyiv region received 2,520 tests for the rapid diagnosis of COVID-19 within the #AntiVirus initiative. The tests were purchased by the Intellias company. As of April 30, IT industry allocated almost UAH 45 million to fight the coronavirus. The #AntiVirus project was initiated by the IT Ukraine Association in order to prevent the spread of coronavirus 2019-nCoV, and to help Ukrainian health workers combat it. Seven of our member companies have already supported the project: EPAM, GlobalLogic, Miratech, ELEKS, Ubisoft, Intellias, and Dev.Pro. As of May 14, they jointly purchased 2,000 protective suits, 2,680 masks, 6,000 pairs of medical gloves, and also 2,520 tests for the rapid diagnosis of COVID-19.
