On March 7, 2018, a Memorandum of cooperation between the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the IT Ukraine Association was signed. In particular, the joint work of the MES and the Association will be aimed at creating a modern educational environment, introducing effective regulation of the educational technology market, promoting the development of digital competences and e-learning in society.
The Ukrainian IT-industry, like other sectors of the creative economy, is a knowledge-based industry. Thus, the introduction of modern technologies in the educational process and the simplification of access to sources of knowledge are extremely important first steps that will contribute to the formation of a new cohort of highly educated specialists not only for the IT-industry, but also for other sectors of the economycommented on the signing of the memorandum Oleksander Kubrakov, Executive Director of the IT Ukraine Association.
