ITU and UkraineInvest Kick Off a new Partnership

UkraineInvest and the IT Ukraine Association have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation, which aims to consolidate efforts to develop the investment potential of Ukraine’s IT sector and support innovative projects.

   

The goal of the partnership is to deepen interaction with the IT community, create a favorable investment environment and promote Ukrainian technology companies internationally.

 

The information technology sector is designated as one of the priority areas in the Law of Ukraine “On State Support for Investment Projects with Significant Investments in Ukraine.” According to this law, projects with investment volumes starting from €12 million (excluding VAT) can receive state support in the form of tax and customs benefits, which can reach up to 30% of the capital expenditures.

   

UkraineInvest pays particular attention to the development of the IT sector as one of the key drivers of the country’s economic growth. For investors implementing such projects, UkraineInvest provides free legal, analytical, and consulting support at all stages of implementation.

 

The IT Ukraine Association, for its part, unites industry leaders around a common goal – the sustainable development of the IT industry. Its mission is to create favorable conditions for growth, protect the community’s interests, and open new opportunities for market participants.

 

Key activities include:

 

• Monitoring and analysing legislative initiatives;
• Representing the industry’s position in legal matters;
• Interacting with government bodies and implementing specialised programs and projects.

 

The Association also develops and scales 25 partnership programs in collaboration with international organisations.
