July 31, Kyiv. – This hot summer is already in the middle, so its the time for the Association to report on the work done during 2nd quarter of 2018. The general meeting of member-companies leader from all over the country took place in the territory of PeremogaSpace. In addition to the report on the work done, the Association also invited guest speakers presenting their own projects – a national brand of the country from the creative agency Banda and an electronic medical system E-Health from the state enterprise “Electronic Health”.
Representative of Banda Agency Pavel Vrzhech, Director of the Department of Information and Communications at the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Roksolana Stadnyk and State Secretary of the Ministry of Information Policy of Ukraine Artyom Bidenko presented the national brand Ukraine NOW, which is meant to improve an international image of Ukraine, raise the country’s awareness and spread positive information about it.
General Director of “Electronic Health” Denis Matsui, who spoke next, demonstrated the other national-scale project – a unified medical electronic system E-Health, on which his team is currently operating. He noted that the system is already ready for work at the basic level and contains registers of medical institutions, doctors and patient contracts. Since the system is based on an opensource, Matsui has invited all passionate programmers to join the project, and has called on IT-companies, specializing in E-Health, to join the development of the system and advice on its future functioning.
Next, Maria Atamaniuk of the British Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and SoftServe’s Head of the Board Yaroslav Lubinets invited domestic IT-companies to take part in the London IT Day, a weekly conference on Ukrainian business, which will be held in London soon.
After that, the word was taken by the President of Miratech Mykola Roenko, who spoke about the preparation for the next year’s CIO IT Forum in Kyiv with the support of the International Federation for Information Processing (IFIP), the influential world organization on Computer Science.
And finally, after a small coffee break, the time has come for the Association’s report on work done during the 2nd quarter of 2018, presented to the participants by the Executive Director of IT Ukraine, Oleksander Kubrakov.
