The General Meeting aimed to elect several key positions – the President, the Vice-Presidents and the Board of Representatives of the Association. Following the election:
- Taras Kytsmei, the co-founder and member of the Board of Directors of SoftServe, was elected the President of IT Ukraine.
- Dmytro Ovcharenko, the CEO of ALCOR, was elected the Vice-President on Financial and Legal Issues.
- Maksym Pochebut, the Head of Educational Programs in EPAM Ukraine, was elected the Vice-President on Educational Issues.
- Dmytro Antoniuk, the Director of ISM Ukraine, was elected the Vice-President on Small and Medium Business issues.
For 2020 the Association determined the following strategic area of activities: promo industry in Ukraine and abroad, GR and IT education.
The Board of Representatives was also elected at the Annual General Meeting. It included 11 companies: Astound Commerce, Ciklum, EPAM Systems, GlobalLogic, Infopulse, Intellias, ISD, Luxoft, Miratech, N-іX, SoftServe. To synergize the work of the Association and regional IT clusters, it decided to invite four of them to the Board of Representatives, namely: Kyiv IT Cluster, Kharkiv IT Cluster, Lviv IT Cluster, Dnipro IT Community.
After the General Meeting, all participants of the event took part in a lively networking event within CEO Meetup dedicated to the 15th anniversary of IT Ukraine. The guests spoke about the results of the current year and plans for the next year in an informal atmosphere.
