IT Ukraine Association launches new educational project for representatives of higher education institutions "IT for Uni: Bootcamp"

It is impossible to change the system without changing the people who create it. To train new experts and to increase human resources that the market and the country seek, we need training, development, and education tools of professional leaders. However, this is impossible without professionals who teach them.

 

“IT for Uni:  Bootcamp” – is a free training course for representatives of higher education and leaders of  higher education institutions on management and governance on the example of the IT industry. The course includes lectures and workshops from representatives of Ukrainian IT companies and international experts. “IT for Uni:  Bootcamp” is a project aimed to engage the IT community in training and professional development of educators who have an opportunity to introduce changes to the educational processes of higher education institutions.

 

The main project goal – is to improve the quality of higher education, to increase human resources and to implement the best management practices into internal processes of educational institutions using the example of IT industry. 

 

The project provides: effective knowledge and skills that will help to successfully plan educational processes, attract resources and partners, and to make the curriculum innovative and effective. 

 

The course lecturers are executives and qualified managers of IT companies: Sigma Software, EPAM Ukraine, SoftServe, GlobalLogic, and the general partner – UKRSIBBANK BNP Paribas Group. The course will also be joined by international experts. 

 

The course includes the following topics: : 

• comparison of the operations of a university and an IT company: attracting talented specialists and their development on the example of the industry; 
• project management in the Agile era – a training course as a project; 
• fundraising and financial management + CSR and sustainability;
• AI in operations of educational institutionу: implementing and working with innovations; ;
• cooperation with international partners. .

 

Who is the course for? 

• For representatives and managers of higher education institutions, rectors, deans, directors of structural units, and university instructors of any specialty. 

 

What is the training format?

• Lectures and webinars will be held 3 times a week, from 17:00 to 19:00 in an online format.  

 

Course start: 16 October 2023  

Course duration: 5 weeks

• Participation in the project is free of charge. 
• To become a participant, you need to fill out an application form and be selected based on a motivation letter.
