The educational project of the IT Ukraine Association “IT for Uni: Bootcamp 2.0” – is a training course for leaders of higher education institutions on management and governance on the example of the IT industry. This is the second project of an educational course from the IT industry for representatives of higher education institutions.
The goal of the project is to improve the quality of education management and educational services, as well as to raise the qualification level of educators and to strengthen the human resources potential of Ukraine. The participants of the training course include deans, vice-rectors, directors of structural units, and heads of departments.
In total, 231 applications were received from 40 cities of Ukraine, and 160 participants from 93 higher education institutions of Ukraine were selected to participate.


The official opening of the course took place on April 11, 2024, with the participation of representatives of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, companies and partners: Softserve, Payoneer, Sigma Software, Globallogic, Lionwood.Software, GoIT, N-iX, Luxoft, EPAM Ukraine, DAN IT, Mate academy, Weblium, Miratech, ITVDN, Eleks, Bandera agency, IT STEP University, Ukrainian Startup Fund, PMI Ukraine Chapter and the general partner – UKRSIBBANK BNP Paribas Group.
Over the next 10 weeks, the participants will master 10 modules, 20 lectures, and 10 workshops on relevant topics, including:
The training course also includes creating and development of a community of managers and leaders of higher education institutions, additional resources and mentoring hours with speakers.
The first project “IT for Uni: Bootcamp” brought together 125 participants from 27 cities in Ukraine and 80 higher education institutions. The course included 5 modules, namely 20 hours of webinars and workshops, with 16 speakers from 4 different countries: Ukraine, USA, UK, and Germany.
The project is implemented by the IT Ukraine Association with the support of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the general partner – UKRSIBBANK BNP Paribas Group.
