IT Ukraine Association launches a project on reserving

The IT Ukraine Association strives to expand services for IT companies and on a regular basis evaluates the impact of legislative initiatives on the IT industry. The issues of reserving and mobilisation of IT professionals and short-term travel abroad for business trips are key issues for the preservation of the industry. And as it being one of a few working and generating income for the state, the Association takes an active part in the dialogue between business and the authorities on the implementation of new procedures for the reserving of employees. It is obvious that the new procedure for reserving conscript workers during martial law was developed as a universal mechanism, without taking into account the specific aspects of the IT industry. Since its introduction, we in the Association have seen a large request for expert support in the implementation of this reservation procedure and in the specifics of military record keeping. Since the Association’s legal committee has accumulated considerable expertise on these issues, we came up with the idea to combine all the Association’s initiatives regarding military records and reserving into a large separate project. Moreover, the goal of this project is quite far-reaching. The goal of the project is not only to provide appropriate consulting support on today’s relevant issues, but also to collect and systematise problematic issues that will accumulate in the industry in order to initiate the improvement of the current legislation of Ukraine,
