The member companies of the IT Ukraine Association — EPAM and UKRSIBBANK BNP Paribas Group — supported the project e-Maliatko, which greatly simplifies the process of providing administrative services for parents of new-born children. The companies donated 100 laptops and 39 printers with the assistance of the Eastern Europe Foundation to maternity hospitals, state registry offices of the civil status and administrative service centers.

e-Maliatko is an integrated solution for parents of new-born children, which allows them to quickly get up to 10 services at once on 1 application in maternity hospitals, Centers for Administrative Services (CNAP), or state registry offices. The new parents are assisted by a special administrator who enters data into the database. The process requires minimal technical support in the form of computers and laptops, so modern equipment from EPAM and UKRSIBBANK BNP Paribas Group will help professionals to work quickly and comfortably.

EPAM welcomes the introduction of the e-Maliatko service, which helps thousands of families at their most exciting time. Technology must work to make our lives easier. Supporting this project to provide maternity hospitals with the necessary equipment is an extension of the company’s socially responsible policy, which also includes assistance to local communities,
— says Aziza Khamidova, ERAM CSR Project Expert.
The service is launched by the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine together with the EGAP Program, which is implemented by the Eastern Europe Foundation with the support of Switzerland. The service is currently available in 31 cities. Yanina Olkhovska, Director of Communications, CSR, and Involvement at UKRSIBBANK BNP Paribas Group, says that UKRSIBBANK is actively integrating digital opportunities into everyday life, by spreading useful innovations that have a positive impact on society.

By supporting the e-Maliatko service, we make it more accessible for young parents throughout Ukraine. So they can successfully, simply and safely draw up many documents right in the maternity hospital, and dedicate their free time to the family. As part of BNP Paribas, the bank actively supports initiatives that improve the quality of communities in the countries where the group is present,

— she notes.

We are pleased that the Association has become a technical partner for the implementation of such an important service as e-Maliatko. The members of the Association are actively involved in the initiative, negotiations are underway, so we hope that the successful example of EPAM and UKRSIBBANK will be the start of long-term cooperation, – — Konstantin Vasyuk, Executive Director of the IT Ukraine Association, states.

Every day, about 200 children receive their first documents through the e-Maliatko service. In total, 7,840 Ukrainian families have already used the service. 6,578 children received individual tax numbers, 4,569 — UREN. 4,951 families received child allowance. 2,267 child’s place of residence registrations were made and assistance was provided to 109 children from large families. At the beginning of June, a comprehensive service e-Maliatko will be launched in 50 new big and small cities. We sincerely thank the members of the IT Ukraine Association — EPAM and UKRSIBBANK BNP Paribas Group for technical assistance, –

— says Victor Lyakh, President of the Eastern Europe Foundation.

__________

e-Maliatko is an innovative state service, which was created to facilitate the first days of parenthood by the EGAP Program together with the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, and allows to draw up to ten services on one application. Previously, to get the necessary government services, parents had to visit about 11 institutions, collect about 37 documents and spend about 10 days on it. e-Maliatko is a service that combines all the services related to the birth of a child into one application submitted to the maternity hospital, administrative service center, or UREN. On January 2, e-Maliatko was firstly tested by Kharkiv residents, and within 5 months the geography of the comprehensive service has significantly expanded. The service is now available at 179 locations in 31 cities: it can be obtained at one of the 28 maternity hospitals, 57 administrative service centers, or 94 departments of the UREN: https://bit.ly/eMalyatko. And by the end of the year, e-Maliatko will be available online on the Unified portal of public services Diia - from anywhere in the country.
