IT Ukraine Association has announced new Committee Drivers

The IT Ukraine Association has announced the chairs of its standing committees in the areas of AgriTech, CyberTech, FinTech and EdTech. The Association’s committees serve as a platform that brings together leaders of Ukrainian IT companies to advance key technological sectors, promote Ukrainian solutions in international markets, and strengthen the industry’s overall position.

 

The standing committees act as centres of initiative within the Association’s respective segments. They serve as platforms for uniting market participants, implementing joint projects, fostering dialogue with government and international partners, and promoting Ukrainian technological solutions in global markets.

 

Bohdan Kruhlyk, Director of FrendT, has been appointed Chair of the AgriTech Committee.

 

The AgriTech Committee brings together leading IT companies to drive the development of agricultural technologies, strengthen expertise, and promote Ukrainian AgriTech solutions in international markets.

 

The Committee’s priority objectives include:

• Enhancing cooperation with government bodies and engaging in regulatory processes for the digitalisation of the agricultural sector;
• Expanding international partnerships and integrating into global AgriTech initiatives;
• Showcasing technological opportunities for agribusiness through educational programmes and active participation in industry events;
• Implementing joint projects with business associations and reinforcing the position of AgriTech in Ukraine;
• Building effective collaboration between the technology and agricultural sectors in line with the AgroFoodTech Development Strategy – WINWIN 2030.

 

My goal is simple: to transform Ukraine’s agricultural sector so that every hectare operates as a high-precision system, and every farmer becomes a leader of the future economy. As Chair of the AgriTech Committee, I will do everything to ensure these changes become reality by 2026. Serhii Kulyk, Head of the Ukrainian office of iITD, has been appointed Chair of the CyberTech Committee.

 

The CyberTech Committee focuses on overcoming regulatory uncertainty, fostering a culture of cybersecurity, and strengthening Ukraine’s international reputation as a trusted cyber hub.

 

The Committee’s priority objectives include:

• Expanding cooperation with government bodies and engaging experts to exchange knowledge, thereby supporting vertical development and reinforcing the cyber ecosystem.
• Participating in key Ukrainian industry events organised by partners and the Association.
• Increasing the Committee’s influence on regulatory processes and contributing to policy-making in the field of cybersecurity.
• Building an effective cybersecurity ecosystem in Ukraine and raising awareness among a wider audience.
• Enhancing Ukraine’s competitiveness in the international cyber domain.
• Establishing effective operations in line with the WINWIN 2030 Development Strategy.

 

The future of cybersecurity is defined not only by technology but by challenges that demand systemic responses. The FinTech Committee brings together leading IT companies to foster the development of financial technologies, drive innovation, and strengthen Ukraine’s position as an international fintech hub

 

The Committee’s priority objectives include:

• Expanding cooperation with government bodies and contributing to the development of regulatory frameworks for the FinTech sector, particularly within the scope of RegTech.
• Organising meetings with representatives of the National Bank of Ukraine, relevant ministries, and organisations to discuss key issues and initiatives.
• Broadening international partnerships and integrating into global initiatives.
• Increasing the visibility of Ukrainian FinTech companies in international markets through participation in leading global events.
• Engaging experts and professionals to stimulate knowledge exchange and support the active growth of verticals within the FinTech sector.
• Taking part in major Ukrainian industry events organised by partners and the Association.

 

We are moving from the stage of disruption to one of maturity and deep integration. The future of fintech lies not in isolated products but in intelligent financial infrastructure embedded across all areas of business and everyday life. Generative AI, hyper-personalisation, embedded finance, and RegTech are becoming the key drivers of efficiency, security, and scalability. Volodymyr Strashko, CEO of Unicorn School, has been appointed Chair of the EdTech Committee.

 

The EdTech Committee unites leaders in educational technology to drive the development of Ukraine’s EdTech sector and strengthen its position on the international stage.

 

The Committee’s priority objectives include:

• Enhancing engagement with regulators and contributing to the development of a regulatory framework for the EdTech sector.
• Building an effective digital education ecosystem by creating conditions for the growth and implementation of innovative technologies in education.
• Increasing the visibility of Ukrainian EdTech companies in international markets.
• Promoting digital technologies in education by expanding media outreach, conducting research, and publishing in industry journals to raise awareness and support sectoral growth.
• Involving experts and professionals to encourage knowledge exchange, foster vertical development in the EdTech sector, and support innovation in education.
• Participating in major Ukrainian industry events organised by partners and the Association.

 

I am absolutely convinced that a growing market is the best environment for doing business. That is why it is important to me that Ukrainian EdTech develops both domestically and internationally. We already have excellent products that have been tested by COVID, war, and the most extreme conditions. My dream is for them to be used worldwide. In May 2025, the AI Committee was established, bringing together industry leaders for constructive dialogue, knowledge exchange, and strengthened cooperation, supporting the development of innovative solutions and shaping the strategy for Ukraine’s AI sector.

In the near future, committee members will hold moderated strategic sessions on the Association’s platform and present a series of initiatives across verticals.
