The partnership aims to combine the expertise of the agricultural business, innovative companies, and the government, as well as to develop digital solutions for the agricultural industry.
AgroTech is one of the key sectoral strategies of WINWIN, which demonstrates how innovations can transform traditional industries of the economy. This is a direction in which Ukraine can turn its industry expertise into a global competitive advantage. We have a unique combination of agricultural experience and technological potential, which is why the development of AgroTech within WINWIN is a priority. Our goal is not just to support innovations, but to create conditions for their scaling, integration into related sectors, and export of technologies. Importantly, we are implementing this transformation together with the IT industry, particularly in cooperation with the IT Ukraine Association, which has become a strategic partner in the development of this direction,
— said Valeriya Ionan, Advisor to the First Vice Prime Minister – Minister for Digital Transformation of Ukraine on innovation, digitalisation, and global partnerships.
WINWIN and the IT Ukraine Association will encourage the implementation of innovations that will make the agricultural sector more efficient, resilient, and competitive.
The agricultural sector has traditionally been one of the strongest drivers of the Ukrainian economy — in 2024, it contributed more than 12% to the GDP. IT service exports accounted for 3.4%, and this is one of the most dynamic sectors. We are convinced that combining IT technological expertise and the scale of the agricultural sector will provide a synergy of a new level. Currently, only 2.8% of Ukrainian IT companies work in the AgroTech field — this means there is enormous growth potential. This is why the IT Ukraine Association has become a strategic partner of WINWIN in the development of this direction,
— said Maria Shevchuk, Executive Director of the IT Ukraine Association.
