IT Ukraine Association is our constant partner. Only in the synergy of the state and business, we will be able to implement quality reform of IT education at all levels. Business is creating a demand for change for faster growth, and the state is creating the conditions for the same. Together, we have analyzed the current problems of Ukrainian IT education and identified priority initiatives for reform and are now working on its implementation, — said Oleksandr Borniakov, Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation for IT Development.
Artur Seletsky, Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation for Digital Development, Digital Transformation and Digitalization, stressed the importance of joint efforts of business and the Government in the development of IT education.
First of all, we have reviewed all the approaches to IT education that already exist today. And the synergy of business and the state will help to make these changes qualitatively and at all levels, – Artur Seletsky noted. You can get acquainted with the presentation of the key educational achievements in IT education for the years 2015–2021 by following the link. It is worth reminding that already today Ukrainian IT companies lack 50–60 thousand people, and this is subject to rapid annual market development by 20–30%. This means only one thing: companies are in dire need of qualified personnel who need to be trained and/or retrained if attracted from other industries. This is possible with close cooperation between business, government and educational institutions.
