On April 14, the first meeting of the newly established the IT Law Committee was held. The ITLC replaced the Committee of financial and legal issues and expanded its scope of activities. The committee will bring together lawyers, financiers, HR and other IT professionals to summarize their experience, gain expertise, ensure knowledge sharing and address current IT issues.
The IT Law Committee functions include: expert assistance to member companies of the Association on legal and financial issues, drafting proposals for bills and other regulations related to the IT industry, expert support to the Association in preparing regulations, open letters and appeals aimed at protecting the interests of the IT industry or members of the Association.
The meeting also included an open discussion “IT industry in wartime: migration, labor issues, mobilization and reservation issues, family law issues” with the participation of experts from relevant fields of law of the expert group of the ITLС.
Following the meeting of the Committee, a plan of further actions of the Association will be issued considering the martial law and the requests of the members of the Association.
