In keeping with its year-end tradition, Intellias is concluding the year by supporting the Defence Forces of Ukraine. On this occasion, the company, alongside its specialists, is donating ₴2 million for the procurement of “Taras-P” interceptor drones. These drones are destined for the Anti-Aircraft Defence unit of the Third Separate Assault Brigade and will assist in protecting Ukrainian airspace against enemy UAVs.
The “Taras-P” is a Ukrainian-made fixed-wing UAV designed specifically to intercept aerial targets, including strike and reconnaissance drones. These interceptors reduce the burden on traditional air defence systems and serve as a highly cost-effective alternative to expensive surface-to-air missiles.
These drones are capable of operating at altitudes of up to 6,000 metres, reaching speeds of 160 km/h, and have an operational range of up to 30 km. The “Taras-P” is equipped with an analogue thermal imaging camera and a proprietary, stable video link system. Furthermore, the airframe, the payload (warhead), and key components are all manufactured in Ukraine.
The ‘Taras-P’ is a highly effective interceptor drone, for which there is a never-ending queue among our units. One such aircraft costs approximately ₴100,000, yet it can effectively replace a costly missile to neutralise an enemy UAV. The efficiency of the ‘Taras-P’ is truly immense, which is why everyone wants them. This ₴2 million donation from Intellias is a powerful reinforcement for our air defence, which will help our soldiers inflict even greater losses on the enemy

These interceptor drones are capable of destroying aerial targets worth tens or even hundreds of thousands of dollars, including “Shahed” loitering munitions, as well as “Orlan”, ZALA, SuperCam, Lancet, and SKAT reconnaissance and strike UAVs. The funds provided by Intellias and its team will procure 20 drones, which will be deployed to support the military as early as December.

Since the start of the full-scale invasion, Intellias has regularly supported the Defence Forces, dedicating contributions to dates and holidays significant to the company. For this year’s Independence Day, the company handed over five electronic intelligence (ELINT) systems to the “Khartia” Brigade. Previously, Intellias contributed to the procurement of FlyEye and “Leleka-100” UAVs, invested in upgrading Vector drones from Quantum-Systems, and supported the “We Live Here 2.0” initiative by the “Come Back Alive” Foundation and Kyivstar. The company also participates in ongoing fundraising campaigns, responding directly to the military’s needs. The total amount of assistance provided to the Defence Forces has now exceeded ₴127 million.
