How to Overcome Burnout: A Course by Hillel IT School

How to Overcome Burnout: A Course by Hillel IT School

Publication date:

Publication from:

Hillel IT School

Burnout, anxiety, workplace conflict, and procrastination have become increasingly common across almost every profession. To help people navigate these challenges, Hillel IT School has launched a new free online course on Hillel Max: Not OK at Work: How to Deal with Burnout, Stress, and Toxic People.

In just over an hour, participants will gain practical tools and actionable techniques to better understand how they respond to workplace challenges, build healthier communication, and navigate everyday work situations with greater confidence.

The course is led by Andrii Salamatov, a psychotherapist, Business Development Director, and creative thinking trainer. With more than 10 years of experience working with business teams, he has delivered over 500 projects for Ukrainian and international companies. He is also the co-owner of the creative agency 4Press and the research agency GreenDuck.

We can’t control everything that happens at work, but we can learn how to respond more effectively. This course is built around practical tools that help people manage stress, set healthy boundaries, and build psychological resilience in their everyday working lives,

said Andrii Salamatov, psychotherapist, Business Development Director, creative thinking trainer, and co-owner of 4Press and GreenDuck.

According to Alina Pervushyna, Head of PR at Hillel IT School and the initiator of the project, the course was created to provide practical, expert-led guidance that is accessible to everyone.

Leaving your job isn’t the answer to every workplace problem, but neither is silently putting up with one. We wanted to answer a simple question: what can you do when work becomes emotionally challenging? That idea became the foundation of this project. Our goal was to provide practical, high-quality guidance from a trusted expert and make it available to everyone free of charge. We intentionally partnered with a specialist who has spent years working not only as a psychotherapist but also directly with teams and business leaders on research, skills development, and real organisational challenges. That is why this course focuses on practical advice, proven techniques, and situations that people face every day,

said Alina Pervushyna.

What the Course Covers

The program consists of seven short video lessons packed with practical tools, techniques, and step-by-step guidance – without unnecessary theory or motivational clichés. In just over an hour, the course explores workplace situations faced by thousands of people across different professions and offers practical ways to navigate them.

Participants will learn how to:

  • deal with difficult colleagues or managers;
  • confidently discuss salary increases and career growth;
  • say no to unreasonable requests without feeling guilty;
  • recognise and overcome burnout;
  • manage procrastination, anxiety, and panic attacks;
  • make remote work more comfortable and productive.

By the end of the course, participants will have a practical toolkit to help them better manage emotional pressure at work, communicate more effectively, and maintain their psychological well-being in everyday professional situations.

Who the Course Is For

The course is free and open to everyone on the Hillel Max learning platform.

It is designed for professionals across a wide range of industries, including IT specialists, healthcare professionals, educators, managers, sales professionals, freelancers, and anyone whose work involves regular interaction with people and emotional demands.

The course will also benefit anyone who wants to better understand the causes of burnout, anxiety, or procrastination and learn practical techniques for dealing with them. “Not OK at Work: How to Deal with Burnout, Stress, and Toxic People” is available free of charge on Hillel Max.

The course provides educational information and practical techniques to support psychological well-being. It is not intended to replace professional mental health care. If you are experiencing significant emotional distress or require psychological support, please seek help from a qualified mental health professional.
