The international consulting IT company Customertimes demonstrates what unity and corporate social responsibility are, not in words but in deed. Over the past six months, Customertimes donated 72 laptops, 73 monitors, as well as office furniture worth over UAH 200,000 to charity. The military, schools, hospitals and scientific organizations received help.
Since its inception, Customertimes has been involved in charitable projects around the world. When a full-scale war began, the focus changed — the company focused on supporting Ukraine. In March 2022, Customertimes opened a special fund – “The Give Back to Ukraine”. In addition to assistance from the fund, since then the company’s CSR initiatives have primarily been aimed at supporting Ukrainians.
How did Customertimes act in the case of appliances and furniture?
After conducting an audit of the equipment in the warehouses, Customertimes decided to give help to those who need it most, and the company entrusted the employees with the question of who exactly to give the discovered items to. Colleagues were sent lists of things and were invited to make inquiries about their transfer.
The company received dozens of reviews, most of which related to help for defenders — colleagues in the Armed Forces, as well as relatives and friends from various military units. Also important was the request for the transfer of furniture to the doctors who save the lives of soldiers — the “Main Military Clinical Hospital” in Kyiv. In addition, colleagues asked to help schools and scientific institutions.
How did you deal with merch?
Customertimes organized a charity fair, to which colleagues – the Eastern Europe team – were involved. The goal was to raise funds for the support of “Cosmotabor” — an inclusive summer camp in Kyiv for children with special needs, which is organized by the NGO “Seeing with the Heart”, a long-term subsidiary organization of Sustomertimes. Employees could choose what they liked and contribute to a good cause.
Your kindness and sensitivity make it possible to change the attitude towards children with disabilities in society, to help children acquire the necessary socialization and communication skills, to help parents believe in their children and children in themselves,
shared Olesya Yaskevich, founder of the “See with the Heart” NGO.
After the fair, there were still branded t-shirts that the company handed over to soldiers undergoing treatment at the Kyiv Military Hospital.
It is important for us to bring benefit, and we are happy to use any opportunity for this. If we can help others, we should. We are glad that our colleagues share our values and join charity projects,
said Taras Khudoba, VP Engineering, EEU Cluster Head in Customertimes.
