On 18 March, a closed meeting took place with the State Service of Special Communication and Information Protection of Ukraine, which confirmed the importance of active cooperation with international partners to ensure cybersecurity and the development of cyber infrastructure in Ukraine.
Oleksandr Potii, the Head of the State Service of Special Communication and Information Protection of Ukraine since 2024, is a leading Ukrainian expert in the fields of cyber and information security, information protection, cryptography, Doctor of Technical Sciences and Professor.
Priority areas for the State Service of Special Communication and Information Protection in 2025 include:
During the meeting, the areas of interaction with international partners for 2025 were discussed, as well as key priorities for Ukraine’s interaction with international partners, including the USA, Sweden, Germany, France, and other countries, where knowledge and experience in cybersecurity will be exchanged — for instance, GIZ (Germany), which supports training Ukrainian cybersecurity representatives.
Following the discussion, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the IT Ukraine Association and the State Service of Special Communication and Information Protection of Ukraine.
