The IT Ukraine Association announces a change in the management team. From September 1, 2023, Maria Shevchuk was appointed the Acting Executive Director of the IT Ukraine Association.
Maria Shevchuk worked as the First Deputy Head of the Export Promotion Office of Ukraine. She has 10 years of experience in implementing internationalisation programmes for Ukrainian companies to the EU, USA, Canada, Asian and African countries. She cooperated with many international organisations and technical assistance projects, including USAID, GIZ, EBRD, EU4BIZ, WNISEF, UNDP, QFTP among others. She was fundraising and implementing various projects to increase the competitiveness of Ukrainian business in the amount of more than 2.5 million US dollars.
Maria Shevchuk replaced Konstantin Vasyuk, who worked at IT Ukraine for four years.
The board and team of IT Ukraine are grateful to Konstantin Vasyuk for his dedicated work! Under his leadership, the IT Ukraine Association grew significantly and strengthened its status as the largest national association of IT companies and an industry leader, which can be learned about in a number of reports – from 2019 until the first half of 2023.
We thank Konstantin for his fruitful work, his personal contribution to the development of the IT industry in Ukraine, and we wish him success in his own new projects!
For the IT Ukraine Association, the appointment of a new leader is an important stage in its further development, it will contribute to the expansion of international cooperation, strengthening collaboration with the authorities, in particular with the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, and consolidation of IT Ukraine’s leadership in the IT industry.
The IT Ukraine Association is the largest national independent professional association of IT companies, which represents the interests of more than 140 service and product IT businesses and more than 85 thousand professionals in Ukraine.
