The Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine has commenced beta testing of the public visualisation tool that pulls data from the Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations (URPI), providing access to analytical and statistical data on business and investment offence investigations.
The launch of the Dashboard is an important step towards the full digitalisation of law enforcement agencies’ work and the implementation of an electronic criminal proceedings management system,
said the PGO.
Alexey Uros, Business Development Director at Asters, participated in the presentation, representing the IT Ukraine Association as its Vice President of Legal Affairs.
The new public tool will provide entrepreneurs, top managers, journalists and all interested citizens with open access to data on investigations since the beginning of 2024, as well as economic crimes over the past 5 years. It includes modules focused on the number and categories of individuals, damages and compensation claims, decisions made and other data points.
The public URPI is intended to minimise the possibility of pressure on businesses, and will enable monitoring the progress of and obtaining data on lawsuits and cases related to business. This is a step towards the launch of an electronic court, transparency of all stages of investigation and court decisions, sufficient analytical capacity and adequacy of data on business-related criminal offences.
This is a significant step towards the launch of the electronic court that will ensure transparency at all stages of investigations and court decisions, as well as analytical and proper data on criminal offences related to business.
