Association Starts “Do IT like Ukraine” Study jointly with Partners

Association Starts "Do IT like Ukraine" Study jointly with Partners

Publication date:

Publication from:

IT Ukraine

During the eight months of the War, Ukraine has been demonstrating its steadfastness and resilience to the whole world. National bravery has become the identifier of our country. The IT industry has made considerable efforts to ensure this stability, maintain the economic front, support our Armed Forces and lead the technological sector to new formats of work in military realities.

The latest mass attacks on the cities of Ukraine once again proved our preparedness for crisis situations.  The IT business has adapted and diversified its own infrastructure to ensure the continuity and productivity of teams.  Despite all the difficulties of wartime, the IT industry continues to work stably and grow, drive the Ukrainian economy and digitise the country.

With an optimistic view of the future, the Association, together with IT clusters and partners, is launching a national study “Do IT like Ukraine” to jointly analyse the role of the IT industry in Ukraine, its contribution to the economy and support of the state during the War, the potential of the industry in the future recovery of the country and prospects for the development of the Ukrainian technological sector at the level of the state, companies and teams.  We also want to pay tribute to the selfless work of Ukrainian IT workers who deliver, volunteer, protect us in cyberspace and on the front lines.

From the very first days of the War, the IT community held its line and consolidated efforts to support Ukraine and the industry.  Our research will be especially valuable thanks to the information partnership with the Kharkiv IT Cluster, IT-Association Vinnytsia, IT FAMILY Odessa, Kyiv IT Cluster, IT Dnipro Community, Cherkasy IT Cluster, Ternopil IT-cluster, Konotop IT-Cluster, IT Cluster “Chernivtsi IT Community», Chernihiv IT. Chernihiv IT cluster, Khmelnytskyi IT cluster, MARIUPOL IT-CLUSTER communities.

The Ukrainian technological sector continues to hold the economic front of the country, companies timely and continuously fulfil contracts and projects, attract investments and new customers, actively enter the global market. And this despite all the risks that Ukraine currently faces due to the War. The stability and endurance of our IT industry impresses international partners, customers, and our colleagues from other industries. We also generate highly qualified IT specialists who remain competitive on the international market, have high expertise and broad specialisation, and offer complex and creative solutions. Our research should show the transformation of the industry and the IT market in the conditions of the War in different sections, outline the directions of development and illustrate the value of the industry for the future of the state, economy and Ukrainian society
— - Konstantin Vasyuk, Executive Director of the Association, emphasises.
UKRSIBBANK BNP Paribas Group is a reliable and constant partner of the Association’s projects, together with which we have been supporting the development of the technological sector in Ukraine for many years, and creating opportunities for the growth of the national IT business and community. This time, UKRSIBBANK became the general partner of the study. The media partner of the study is Dev.ua – an online publication about technologies, innovations and IT business in Ukraine. The design of the study “Do IT like Ukraine” was developed in partnership with the TopLead company. Bilingual research will be of interest to business and public sector representatives, experts and media, foreign clients and international partners. The release of the study is scheduled for mid-November. Follow our updates!
