In 2025, the Ukrainian product software company IT-Enterprise, which has been supporting the digital transformation of enterprises in the real sector of the economy for over 35 years, delivered a range of projects for businesses, infrastructure companies, the financial sector, and public institutions. Oleg Shcherbatenko, CEO and co-founder of the company, shared the outcomes and insights of the year in digital transformation.
People and Values
In 2025, IT-Enterprise maintained a steady pace of operations despite the ongoing war. The company expanded its team, adapted its ERP solutions to new industries—particularly retail—strengthened its presence in the Ukrainian market, and enhanced its expertise in working with clients across the European Union. IT-Enterprise also contributed to the formation of expert positions on public policy in the field of digitalisation.
Defence Sector
In 2025, IT-Enterprise continued delivering projects for the defence sector. According to Oleg Shcherbatenko, demand increased throughout the year for the digitalisation of management and production processes, alongside higher expectations regarding the quality and systemic nature of IT solutions. These initiatives covered production, resource management, logistics, finance, and human capital.
Within this domain, the company continued its cooperation with the Come Back Alive Foundation, which in 2025 implemented digital tools to optimise logistics and financial operations, procurement processes, and the advanced use of artificial intelligence. The implementation of such projects was accompanied by heightened cybersecurity requirements.
Nationwide Impact
One of the key projects of the year was cooperation with the agribusiness holding NIBULON. In 2025, the partners created digital twins of 23 grain elevator complexes, reducing grain losses to 1% and significantly improving operational control. This project is regarded as one of the first examples of digital twins implementation in Ukraine’s elevator infrastructure and may evolve into a broader trend in the agricultural sector.
Cooperation with Fractal (ex-Netpeak) also continued throughout the year. In particular, a consolidated treasury system was implemented to manage the group’s financial operations, uniting more than 25 organisations across multiple countries.
People and Infrastructure
One of the key business priorities in 2025 was the digitalisation of HR processes. Companies focused on automating recruitment, onboarding, training, performance evaluation, and HR data management.
Key projects included:
In 2025, IT-Enterprise also began cooperation with 28 new corporate clients, including Rozetka, MHP Lehko, Oschadbank, Darnitsa, and Toyota Ukraine, laying the foundation for digital transformation initiatives planned for 2026.
Transparency and the Public Sector
The company continued developing digital solutions for local governments and public institutions, focusing on automating budget processes, improving internal collaboration, and increasing transparency. One such project was the automation of the National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP) call centre.
A separate focus area in 2025 was the replacement of software of Russian origin. According to Oleg Shcherbatenko, coordination between public institutions, businesses, the IT community, and the media intensified throughout the year to replace toxic software. The IT Ukraine Association played a key role in this process by forming the core of change in this area.
IT-Enterprise and the ERP Market
According to the CEO, IT-Enterprise operates in a competitive environment alongside international ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, and Microsoft Dynamics, while also integrating with them in selected projects. The company’s key advantage lies in its deep expertise in the local context—legislation, regulatory requirements, and the specifics of management processes in Ukraine.
Oleg Shcherbatenko concludes that digitalisation has become a priority for businesses in Ukraine and a critical element of investment strategies. He predicts that within the next three to four years, skills in working with ERP systems and corporate digital platforms will become standard for employees at all levels—from company owners to seasonal workers.
