The world needs science and science needs women

L’Oréal Ukraine is pleased to announce the opening of applications for the 8th edition of the L’Oréal–UNESCO For Women in Science Award. The initiative is designed to support talented Ukrainian women researchers in STEM, create new opportunities for their professional growth, and inspire the next generation to pursue careers in science.

 

Three outstanding laureates will each receive a UAH 500,000 grant to advance their scientific research projects.

 

Applications are open to Ukrainian women aged 18 to 40 (inclusive) who:

• hold a scientific degree in a STEM discipline;
• are employed by a Ukrainian academic or research institution and have their primary affiliation in Ukraine. Their
• cumulative time spent abroad must not exceed six months per year;
• have publications affiliated with a Ukrainian institution in journals indexed in Scopus and/or Web of Science;
• have no publications in predatory journals and have not participated in predatory conferences;
• actively contribute to science outreach and the promotion of science in society.
