On July 6, 2026, SAP Ukraine participated in the business forum «Opportunities on the Ukrainian Market», organized by colleagues from SAP Germany together with the German-Ukrainian Institute of Private Business. The event brought together representatives of German business, the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, and technology companies to discuss Ukraine’s investment potential, prospects for international partnership, and the role of digital technologies in the country’s recovery.
As part of the event, the Startup Spotlight session showcased three innovative Ukrainian companies that are successfully expanding to international markets. The featured startups included eKidz, an AI-powered platform that helps children learn to read and develop language skills; SOC Prime, a global cybersecurity platform for threat detection and cyber defense; and CheckEye, an AI-driven solution for the early detection of diabetic retinopathy.
During the event, Anna Mikulytska, Managing Director of SAP Ukraine, presented the current state of the Ukrainian technology ecosystem. Despite the full-scale war, Ukraine continues to demonstrate steady growth in the digital economy: over 305,000 IT specialists, 2,700 technology startups, and IT industry revenue amounted to USD 7.85 billion in 2025. Special attention was paid to the development of DefenceTech, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, AgriTech, logistics, and digital public services.
SAP has been operating in the Ukrainian market for more than 30 years, helping companies and government institutions implement modern digital solutions and improve business process efficiency.
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the company has invested more than EUR 65 million in supporting Ukraine, ensuring business continuity for customers. In addition, the company actively supports Ukrainians by providing assistance to numerous local and international charitable initiatives.
Today, SAP is one of the key technology partners in the digital transformation of both the public and private sectors; in particular, the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine uses SAP solutions. The project covers the digitalization of HR, financial, and logistics processes and creates a modern digital foundation for the operation of one of the country’s most important government bodies.
At the same time, an increasing number of Ukrainian enterprises are moving from outdated ERP systems to modern and secure SAP enterprise solutions. This transformation opens new opportunities to enhance cyber resilience, business process transparency, and innovation.
The results of the digital transformation of Ukrainian companies are regularly recognized internationally. SAP customers from Ukraine have repeatedly become winners of the SAP Quality Awards and SAP Innovation Awards, demonstrating successful implementation of innovative technologies even in wartime conditions.
Today, Ukraine is a powerful innovation hub that is shaping new technological solutions for the European market. The combination of highly qualified IT specialists, a digital-first state, the rapid development of an innovation ecosystem, and experience operating in high-complexity conditions makes Ukraine an important partner for European business.
For SAP, Ukraine is a strategic market in which we have been investing for more than 30 years. We see Ukrainian companies implementing world-class innovations, gaining international recognition, and becoming examples of digital transformation even in the most challenging circumstances. SAP is proud to have been part of this story for over three decades,
─ emphasized Anna Mikulytska, Managing Director of SAP Ukraine.
SAP will continue to support Ukrainian organizations on their path to digital transformation, fostering innovation, strengthening economic resilience, and integrating Ukraine into Europe’s single digital space.
