Ciklum’s business resilience and HR strategy got industry recognition

Ciklum’s business resilience and HR strategy got industry recognition

Publication date:

  • 04.11.2022

Publication from:

Ciklum

Thanks to a well-designed business continuity plan and a focus on people and their needs, Ciklum was able to quickly restore productivity indicators, ensure the well-being of colleagues, and maintain business sustainability. These achievements received recognition from the HR Brand and Forbes Ukraine.

In November, Forbes Ukraine published a list of the 30 most sustainable private companies in Ukraine, which included seven IT businesses. Ciklum was no exception – the company is showing promising results in terms of financial dynamics, as well as maintaining key business indicators and keeping the team.

Efforts and involvement of the colleagues helped us reach pre-war performance indicators at the beginning of March. Moreover, we could even expand our customer pool with some well-known brands. We are convinced that we will surpass last year’s indicators by the end of this year – under the current circumstances, we can surely call this a good result,
— noted CFO at Ciklum, Andriy Oksenyuk.
In addition, Ciklum received the HR Brand Award 2022 with its project “Together through the storm: the humanity of communications in turbulent times”, focused on the company’s Human-to-Human strategy. Ciklum is convinced that caring for colleagues in such challenging moments and paying attention to a wide range of their requests helped the business maintain the loyalty of professionals and strengthen their trust in the company.
Although the Human-to-Human approach got more popular because of the tragic events, I am convinced that this tendency will continue after the victory. Care, respect, and recognition of each individual is a solid foundation for the future development of Ukraine, added Tetyana Laduba, the company’s Global Head of Employer Branding and Employee Engagement.
Even before the start of a full-scale invasion, the company’s BCP plan focused not only on business continuity but also on the physical and psychological safety of the specialists. The company’s approach included, among many other things, relocation to safer regions and its financing, early salary transfer in February, comprehensive information about the situation, and the development of a psychological support program. In general, Ciklum has already invested more than $5 million in implementing this plan in Ukraine and directed about UAH 50 million to charity. In 2022, Ciklum opened new development centres in Bulgaria and Romania. However, the company keeps Ukraine as its key delivery hub and plans to increase investments.
